European Le Mans Series 2005-2016

These photos where taken from several years of the Le Mans Series (LMS), Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) and European Le Mans Series (ELMS). Originally the premier series for endurance & sports car racing, the LMS series featuring LMP1, LMP2 and GT cars would eventually become the ILMC and then the World Endurance Championship as it became a fully sanction FIA world series. From 2013 onwards the ELMS would become separate to the WEC and a championship in it's own right; dropping the LMP1 class and making LMP2 the top billing. The ELMS has seen a wide and varied amount of cars over the years, it's been fascinating to view and photograph!
